My Therapeutic Approach
Therapy is an active and collaborative process that focuses on helping clients achieve results.
Utilizing therapeutic principles such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), along with other Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities, are a cornerstone of my therapeutic approach.

My Education and Training
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW; MA license number: 123507). My work and training experiences have spanned a variety of populations, such as residential level of care, day treatment program, and outpatient services. Across these roles, I have provided individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and couples therapy. Assessment, intervention, and advocacy work have also been integral aspects of my work experiences. Furthermore, I have served in leadership roles, such as overseeing the clinical treatment at a Department of Mental Health Group Living Environment.
I received my masters in social work from Boston University and my bachelor’s degree in social work from Syracuse University. I completed Massachusetts General Hospital’s (MGH) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for OCD training course and am pursing further OCD/anxiety specialization under the mentorship and training of Dr. Kimberly Glazier Leonte. My prior work experiences were at Edinburg Center Adult Community Clinical Services, South Bay Community Services, and Wellmet Project. I completed my school practicum training experiences at Edinburg Center’s Psychiatric Day Treatment Program and Rescue Mission Alliance. My Areas of Specialty
Through my graduate school training and work experiences I have gained extensive experience working with clients struggling with a range of challenge areas. The areas that I have been drawn to is the intersection between anxiety and OCD, the wide range of ways that anxiety/OCD thoughts and behaviors present for individuals, and Exposure therapy — the gold-standard approach for anxiety/OCD. I am passionate about working with people who are struggling with OCD and anxiety, and helping clients face their fears in an empowering, compassionate, and structured manner.
